Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
This policy describes what data RopeFlow (“Rope Flow” on the App Store) collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: your training data lives on your device, cloud features are optional, and your health data never leaves your iPhone or Apple Watch.
Overview
RopeFlow is built offline-first. Every workout, jump count, streak and achievement is recorded and stored locally on your device, and the app works fully without a network connection or an account. Cloud features — account sign-in and cross-device sync — are optional and only activate when you choose to use them.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we process the following categories of data:
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple, Google or email, our authentication and database provider (Supabase) stores your email address, display name and avatar so we can identify your account across devices.
- Training progress. When you are signed in, your workouts, learned freestyle elements, achievements and profile settings (such as goals and body weight used for calorie estimates) sync to your account so that your progress follows you between your iPhone and Apple Watch, and survives a device change.
- Anonymous usage analytics and crash reports. We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand which features are used and to fix crashes. This data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally.
- Purchase status. We use RevenueCat to know whether your device or account has an active RopeFlow Pro subscription or lifetime purchase. Payments are processed entirely by Apple — your card details never touch our servers, and we never see them.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or any data unrelated to training, and we never sell any of your data to anyone.
Health data
With your explicit permission, RopeFlow reads and writes workout and heart rate data through Apple HealthKit — for example, to save your jump rope sessions to the Health app and to show live heart rate during a workout. Health data is processed on your device only: it is never sent to our servers, never used for advertising or analytics, and never sold or shared with third parties. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Guest mode
You can use RopeFlow fully without creating an account. In guest mode all your training data stays on your device, and the only data we receive is the anonymous usage analytics and crash reports described above.
Data deletion
You can delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time directly in the app: open Profile → Delete account. Deletion takes effect right away and removes your synced workouts, elements, achievements and profile from our servers. If you prefer, you can also email us at apps.gexik@gmail.com and we will delete your data for you.
Third-party services
RopeFlow relies on a small set of service providers, each limited to the purpose described:
- Supabase — authentication and cloud database for optional sync.
- RevenueCat — subscription and purchase status management.
- Firebase (Google) — anonymous analytics and crash reporting.
- Apple — payment processing and HealthKit.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and only receives what is necessary to provide its service.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
